The Continental Phase of the Synod of Synodality that began on October 27, 2022, with the publication of the Working Document for the Continental Stage, will extend until March 31, 2023.

In this phase of the process, various concerns have emerged, such as: At what point are we in the process? What is the Continental Phase? Who can participate in this Continental Phase? How will the Continental Synthesis be written? Synod of Synodality 2021-2024.

Pedagogical help

This resource seeks to answer some of the questions that have emerged most frequently during the meetings with the national teams that lead and accompany the Synod process in each of their countries.

It also becomes a pedagogical help to deepen the meaning and the spirit of this phase, in continuity with the path that has been taken and with a view to the next steps.

A video tutorial for all

Likewise, the Center for Communication of Celam has produced a video tutorial in coordination with the coordinating commission of the Continental Phase of the Synod in Latin America and the Caribbean, addressing each of the frequently asked questions of the continental phase.

This video may be used by episcopal conferences, dioceses, parishes, institutions, organizations, and communities in general, which are available to work on it with their groups and integrate their contributions with the diocesan synod teams.
