The Episcopal Commission for Social Pastoral Care (CEPS-Cáritas Mexicana) has established a new Center for Spirituality in Integral Ecology, a space aimed at developing ecological spirituality in a practical way. This center will be a place of prayer, training and promotion of integral ecological processes, covering environmental, economic, social and community dimensions.

Engineer José David Torres Moya, secretary of the Comprehensive Care Dimension of Creation of CEPS-Cáritas Mexicana, highlighted the importance of this initiative to care for our Common Home. He explained that the center aims to be a place where people can learn and practice integral ecology in their homes and communities.

Needed Volunteers

For the design and construction of the center, the collaboration of volunteers who wish to learn by working is required. The project is developed in the facilities of the Santa Cruz Indigenous Center and the National Center for Aid to Indigenous Missions (CENAMI) in Mexico City.
