Cáritas Chile, in collaboration with students from the Pontifical Catholic University, is promoting the campaign "Together let's act for a better tomorrow" to raise awareness about climate change. As part of this initiative, students visited the RECUPAC recycling plant in Huechuraba to collect materials and build a "Tree of Life" made of recycled materials, which will be displayed in Santiago to symbolize the urgent need for environmental action.

The two-meter-high "Tree of Life" will serve as a focal point in the Metropolitan Region, inviting the public to reflect on the environmental crisis and the importance of caring for nature. Cáritas Chile, with the support of Global MarketCross, will organize three events in September around this symbol, promoting community commitment to the environment.

Through these actions, Cáritas Chile reaffirms its commitment to protecting the planet, highlighting the importance of multi-sector collaboration to confront the socio-environmental crisis. With initiatives like this, the organization seeks to inspire society to take concrete and responsible measures to guarantee a sustainable future.
