Caritas Internationalis is looking for a regional advocacy and campaign leader to lead the initiative "Transforming debt into hope" in Latin America and the Caribbean. The selected person will lead the campaign that seeks to mobilize action for debt justice and systemic change in the region.

The campaign, framed in the Jubilee of 2025, will work in close collaboration with the Regional Secretariat of Cáritas Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal is to build advocacy and campaign capacity, amplify the voices of debt-affected communities, and promote systemic change toward a more just world.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating Cáritas' advocacy initiatives and campaigns in the region. In addition, it will need to mobilize regional members of Caritas and partner organisations, and ensure that voices from Latin America and the Caribbean are represented in global debates on debt justice and sustainable development.

Requirements to apply

Candidates must have experience in advocacy, campaigns and project coordination. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Knowledge of Portuguese will be valued. A deep knowledge of the Latin American and Caribbean context, as well as a commitment to social justice and the mission of Cáritas, is essential.
