Caritas Latin America and the Caribbean seeks a consultant to strengthen its financial sustainability

Cáritas Latin America and the Caribbean, through the secretariat, launches a call for consultancy aimed at diagnosing and strengthening fundraising capabilities in the region. This initiative seeks to identify gaps, good practices and strategic recommendations that ensure the financial sustainability of the network with the identity that characterizes Cáritas.

The selected professional will have the challenge of working with at least 14 National Cáritas from the areas of Central America and Mexico (CAMEX), the Caribbean, Bolivarians and the Southern Cone. Among its main functions are:

  • Design the diagnosis methodology and information collection instruments.
  • Develop interview guides, surveys and systematization tools.
  • Conduct a minimum of 14 interviews with participating National Caritas.
  • Systematize the information in matrices and databases.
  • Analyze capacities, gaps and good practices by country.
  • Prepare preliminary report and final with a regional focus and by Cáritas.
  • Present prioritized recommendations and route for strategic plans.
  • Coordinate with the SELACC team the validation of products.
  • Guarantee compliance with safeguarding and confidentiality policies.

The call is aimed at professionals in social, administrative, economic or international cooperation areas. Proficiency in Spanish is required and knowledge of English and Portuguese will be positively valued.

The contract will be developed under the modality of teleworking on a full-time basis, with an expected duration from February 20 to March 30, 2026.
